About the India internship
As a leading global law firm, we’re committed to attracting exceptional talent from across the world. Our India Internship Programme offers high-performing law students in India the opportunity to experience life on a summer vacation scheme at our London office. Over three weeks, you’ll rotate through two practice areas, working on high-profile matters for global clients. You’ll share an office with a supervisor, attend workshops and presentations to build your legal skills, and take part in social events to connect with other students and trainee associates.

After completing the vacation schemes, you'll be considered for a place on our Trainee Associate Programme.

How to apply

Our assessment process varies depending on the role you apply for, but typically includes an application form, an online test, and an assessment centre stage for our in-person long-term schemes.

Application form
This is your chance to make a standout impression. We don't ask you to upload your CV - instead, you'll complete an online application form where you’ll tell us about your academic achievements, any relevant work experience, and answer three written questions based on your legal knowledge and interests.

Online test
Our online test will examine you in the following areas: situational judgement (SJT) and personality/behavioural traits. Questions are based on situations you’re likely to encounter as a trainee associate at HSF Kramer. The test can be completed at your own pace, but should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Live video interview
The final stage in your journey where we find out more about your motivations to working at HSF Kramer and how you'll use your network to promote our opportunities.
Step 4
Assessment Day
The final stage in your journey, the assessment day is a chance for us to get to know each other better. In addition to interviews about your motivation for working here, you’ll be given a case study and scenario-based tasks that test your ability to think on your feet.
