Additional information
 Our vacation scheme takes place over 4 weeks starting in June each year. The Vacation Scheme is the route offered to external candidates interested in our Trainee Solicitor Programme and at the end of the end of the scheme you may be offered a Trainee Solicitor role. A salary will be paid for the duration of the scheme and will be based upon a contract of 37.5 hours per week.
Eligibility If you are a penultimate year Law student, final year Law or LLM student with a qualifying Law degree or have already completed your Law degree then you’re able to apply.

Applications open 4 December 2025
Applications close 12pm (GMT) Friday 16 January 2026
The selection process runs each January to April
The 4-week Vacation Scheme is held each June in the Belfast office
Our application process includes the following: 
  1. Online application form by midday Friday 16 January 2026 deadline
  2. Technical test (remote) in March 2026
  3. Assessment Centre (in-person) in April 2026 
What we look for
 You’ll need to be comfortable reviewing, analysing and organising documentary and factual evidence alongside having excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail. 

We’re looking for consistent 2:1s throughout your degree but we’ll always take mitigating circumstances into account – please include as much detail as you’re comfortable with in the additional information box on the online application form.
